At Clubhouse Trailers, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship and precision that goes into every trailer we build. While many of our high-quality features may go unnoticed, this page shines a light on the attention to detail and superior workmanship that set our trailers apart—ensuring they stand the test of time and exceed expectations.
Spending a full Saturday in a crowded parking lot can be hectic enough—but it’s even more stressful if you forget to bring fuel for your generator. With our trailers, that’s a worry of the past. Every Clubhouse Trailer is built with off-grid capabilities, featuring solar panels on the roof that capture sunlight and store it in 2 or 3 deep-cycle, marine-grade AGM sealed batteries. By nightfall, the batteries have plenty of power to run your stairs, ramp, tubavator, and lighting, so you can load up and hit the road—no stink, no fuss.
We designed our control system with contingencies in mind. The battery system will shut off lights after 45 minutes to conserve power, and will shut off lights when batteries are low. This allows enough reserve power to operate the ramp and stairs to get packed up at the end of the night.
Worried about range anxiety or parking your trailer in a shaded spot? No problem! Every trailer is equipped with a power inlet port, allowing you to easily plug in and power up via an extension cord if needed.
Every trailer with side entry stairs is equipped with a fold-away handrail as a standard feature. Designed for easy operation, this slim handrail extends to match the slope of the stairs, providing extra stability without sacrificing style or convenience. While this handrail comes included with every build, we also offer it as a standalone product for those building their own trailers. Check out the product listing here.
Proper maintenance is key to ensuring your community showpiece stays reliable for years to come. That’s why every Clubhouse Trailer comes with a stocked toolbag, complete with all the wrenches and screwdrivers you’ll need to tighten or replace hardware inside your trailer. Need an extra toolbag? Ramp doors make loading and unloading so much easier, but if you’re still struggling with that gap between the door and the trailer, you know how important a smooth, uninterrupted roll into the trailer can be. Our Gap Flap eliminates that issue, ensuring a seamless transition. This feature has been a standard on our Small Trailer Solutions [link] since 2020, and in Semis, it’s included on the full-width rear ramp, as well as the interior ramp from the 1st to 2nd floor (if equipped).
Just like the Gap Flap, that steep lip from the ramp door to the ground can be a hassle. Our aluminum Approach Plate smooths out the transition, making it easier to wheel even the most unruly concert xylophone into your trailer. This feature has been a standard in our Small Trailer Solutions [link] since we introduced the line in 2020. In Semis, it’s included on the full-width rear ramp, as well as the interior ramp from the 1st to 2nd floor (if equipped).
Since 2010, we’ve been leading the way in band trailer innovations. While preparing to build our first trailer, we noticed that most second floors were attached directly to the walls or side doors, making them practically unusable. Our solution? The load-bearing door span, which allows a second floor to continue across doorways, supported on both sides. These door spans have become one of our most popular DIY Kits, designed to fit a range of door widths—from the standard 52” openings to the massive “Super Barn Door” 110+ inch openings. Every door on a Clubhouse Trailer semi is operable, which is why we include Door Safety Bars that span across open doorways on the 2nd floor. These bars are pinned in place for quick removal during loading and unloading. When not in use, they have a designated spot on the wall for easy storage.
When we started building our first full-width rear ramps in 2016, most aluminum planks on the market were smooth, low-grip surfaces designed for stadium bleachers—great for sitting, but not ideal for walking! To solve this, we engineered our own ramp plank profile with a unique, bi-directional high-grip design. It’s smooth enough to roll equipment effortlessly, yet grippy enough to provide a secure footing. This exclusive ramp plank is only available at The Clubhouse!
