The Los Osos High School Band built their Clubhouse Trailer in 2025. This build is considered a Split Entry Layout, with a powered side stair, rear electric ramp, interior folding ramp, customized instrument & uniform storage.
Right, the powered staircase and handrail are deployed. 6 all-aluminum high-grip stair planks lead you into the nose, where the customized drum wall, carrier grid, and power cabinet reside.
Below, the staircase is retracted into the doorway for travel, taking up minimal floorspace.
Climb the Powered side staircase into the nose of the trailer, where the customized drumline storage shelving resides. Tenors, Basses, and Snares all have dedicated homes, and made to fit your specific case measurements and quantities. Above your head is a drum carrier grid for storing up to 24 carriers. A telescoping handrail is located on the right side of the stairs, mounted to the door.
At the rear of the 2nd floor is an interior Haltom Ramp. This ramp makes it easy to roll equipment up onto the second floor. When not in use, the Haltom Ramp folds up tight against the wall.
The 2nd floor is 28feet long, extending from the nose step of the trailer.
All doorways remain functional, with door safety bars in place, and are removable for loading from the side of the trailer.
Los Osos wanted additional safety measures while inside the trailer. A hinged gate protects the second floor opening between the shelving and the Haltom Ramp.
40′ of upstairs lighting, in addition to downstairs lighting and 7 exterior-facing flood lights provide safety for late-night loading.
5 foot sections of uniform racks line the streetside (Driver’s side). These slotted and numbered aluminum uniform racks hold 190 uniforms, with additional storage above and below the racks for shakos or instruments.
From the nose of the trailer, 3-extra wide, high-grip steps lead you upstairs to the second floor, where the uniform racks and wind instrument shelving resides.
The rear of the trailer is capped off with our flagship full-width electric rear ramp. This ramp is 15 feet long, and powered by 2 pairs of electric actuators. Accompanying our exclusive high-grip aluminum ramp planks are a formed aluminum gap flap and approach plate, allowing even the smallest rollers to seamlessly travel up the ramp and into the trailer.
Below the trailer and inside the streetside bellyboxes reside two color guard drawers. These drawers are each 8 feet long, and 4 feet deep, and have a capacity of around 400 lbs. Flags, sabers, and rifles all have a secure space on the trailer.
Providing more than 250aH of power, the power cabinet was relocated from the rear of the trailer to the nose. These 3 deep cycle batteries provide power to the upstairs and downstairs lights, the exterior flood lights, the powered side stairs, and the rear powered ramp. 2 solar panels on the roof keep batteries charged, with a shore power port so you can plug in the trailer to school power if wanted.
