The Santa Monica High School Band built their Clubhouse Trailer in 2024. This build is considered a Total Electric Split Entry Layout, with our most popular features.

Climb the Electric retracting staircase onto the 2nd floor of the trailer, where some of the customized drumline storage shelving resides, instrument storage. Along with the electric retracting stairs at the nose of the trailer, this rear stair has a handrail for safety.

A 3-step staircase leads from the nose to the carpeted 2nd floor. 40′ of upstairs lighting, in addition to downstairs lighting and 7 exterior-facing flood lights provide safety for late-night loading. Standard Instrument Shelving covers 18′ feet of the curbside 2nd floor, and more drumline dedicated storage on the street side.

Looking forward into the nose is the uniform racks for more than 225 uniforms. Above the uniform rack sits the carrier grid, allowing storage of 24 drum carriers. These unique slotted uniform racks ensure adequate spacing for each uniform, fitting snug to prevent in-transit hops off the rack, and makes it easy for band members to find their uniform.

At the rear of the 2nd floor is a staircase to the 1st floor. The electric rear stairs hinge upwards to allow for unobstructed loading and unloading of the 1st floor. A removeable door safety bar crosses the doorway of the #3 curbside door, and street side #2.

The Power Cabinet and Ramp Control Cabinet is mounted at the rear of the trailer, along with the Clubhouse Companion Toolbag. In conjunction with 200watts of solar on the roof, 3 deep cycle batteries keep the trailer operational during long contest weekends, without noisy generators.
